What do you think about when putting on Tefillin?

We do this mitzvah every single day, fulfilling the obligation according to two opinions.

I'm curious to know what people think about when fulfilling this mitzvah . I know that personally it takes conscious effort to actually think about what I'm doing.

The purpose of this survey is to gather data about mitzvah consciousness overall. Obviously, there are people who are big chasidim and certainly have a lot of kavanah when putting on Tefillin, and there are some people who don't think about anything. Hopefully we will be able to get the average level.

There is no need to write what you should think about, or what you learned that you are supposed to think about, or even what you think about on special days. Our goal is to gather data about the average person on the average day.
